I can say for certain that yes, circumstances doesn’t really determine your happiness, however I do know there’s an excitement in following God that doesn’t come by any other means. It’s like no amount of money or friends will get that and for me it’s getting to the point that if I do not follow God then things get very dull and pointless. I know we are created to have relationship with God and that relationship will actually give us a full and fulfilling life. I can see why the three wise men was overjoyed when they saw the star, it’s because they knew what they need to do and where they need to go, and that in itself is exciting.
