When we come into other cultures and we desire to really make an impact, it is important to learn that cultures language and culture in order to effectively communicate the gospel. I have made a commitment to the nation I am serving in to be here the rest of my life. Of course, God can change that , yet a long term mentality is very beneficial in truly building deep relationships and really having cross-cultural "disciples or spiritual children" and not just taking some pictures of those people from another culture.
